I just think this was odd

So we took Emily to the doctor on Monday-for stomach cramps and allergy tests, and both of these doctors routinely called me just Mom. Not Mrs. Pilz or Heather or anything like that. Is that normal? I have never experienced that before.

Ha! The first time this happened to me, I looked to see if the doctor's mother had arrived.
