We are out of school today for a teacher work day, but it would have been a snow day after the dumping we got this weekend. So I needed something fun to soon our third housebound day! I was reading on facebook and my niece mentioned making funnel cakes! I got on my favorite recipie site and was ready to go!
Funnel cakes get their name from the funnel you use to pour the batter into the hot oil. Only my funnel was too small so I had to use a measuring cup. Emily said they look like tangled up octopusses but she ate 3 of them. Now she is lying on the couch moaning "too much funnel cakes"
